MARINDA TEMKE

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Marinda Albright Temke, 97, of Dongola died Tuesday, April 25, 2000, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born Nov. 18, 1902, in Ullin, daughter of Marion and Eunice Duckworth Darnell. She first married Hobart Albright, who preceded her in death. She later married William Temke, who preceded her in death.

Temke and her first husband operated grocery stores in Wetaug and Ullin. She was a member of Dongola United Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include four stepsons, Orville Temke of Ullin, George Temke of Olmsted, Lester Temke of Karnak, Leonard Temke of Dongola; two stepdaughters, Roselee Holshouser of Tamms, Patty Hudgens of Marion; two grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous stepgrandchildren and great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, three sisters, a brother, and two grandsons.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Goins officiating. Burial will be in Cache Chapel Cemetery.
