Marilyn Roberta Summers, age 68, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Golden Meadow, Louisiana, passed away at 7:48 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020, at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 4, 1951, in Chester, Illinois, to Robert and Therese Colvis Summers.
Marilyn loved fishing, playing bingo, going to the casino and playing cards and scratch-off lottery tickets.
She is survived by her sister, Janet (Mike) Smither of Chaffee, Missouri; nieces, Felicianne O'Neil of Scott City, Amanda (Mike) Blaylock of Jackson, Monica (Glenn) Bollinger of Patton, Missouri, Tomisine Bazzell and Rochelle Donavon, both of Marble Hill, Missouri, Tyanna Summers of Iowa, Bonnie Sue Summers of Marble Hill and Trisha Aldridge of Alabama; nephews, Blaine (Sarah) Blaylock of Scott City; Christopher Summers of Marble Hill and Mattheau (Reyanna) Doiron, Jarrod (Tommilynn) Doiron and Joshua Doiron, all of Galliano, Louisiana; and many other relatives and friends.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; infant sons, Eric and Daniel; brothers, Phillip, Robert and Alphonse Summers; and sisters, Jocelyn M. Doiron and Angela Summers.
Cremation will be accorded. There will be no services.
