Marilyn Needham, 83, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of East Cape Girardeau, Illinois, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2018, at her home. She was born Dec. 30, 1934, in Dongola, Illinois, the daughter of Koble Leroy and Mildred Beulah Johnson Peeler. Marilyn was a member of the Fruitland Community Church in Fruitland. Marilyn Needham, 83, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of East Cape Girardeau, Illinois, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2018, at her home.

She was born Dec. 30, 1934, in Dongola, Illinois, the daughter of Koble Leroy and Mildred Beulah Johnson Peeler.

Marilyn was a member of the Fruitland Community Church in Fruitland. She worked as quality control at Thorngate in Cape Girardeau for many years.

Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Jean Letgrate and Cheryl Ann (Larry) Noel, and a son, Gregory (Lisa) Needham, all of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, Cari Ann Noel, Candice Murphy, Valerie (John) Bollinger and Millie Rae Hurst; 12 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Dwight Peeler.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, Illinois.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Pastor Mike Parry officiating. Interment will be in the Dongola American Legion Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
