She was born Feb. 24, 1932, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Roy C. and Mary A. McLain. She and Fred J. McFarland were married March 30, 1950.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Ricky McFarland of Mindoka, Idaho, Terry, Kim and Mike McFarland of Pocatello; three daughters, Diane Marques of Pocatello, Cheryl Nez of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Michelle McFarland of Nyssa, Ore.; a sister, Jean Eaker of Cape Girardeau, and 17 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
