Marilyn L. Nelson, 57, of 739 Rear Giboney in Cape Girardeau died Thursday, April 23, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Feb. 20, 1935, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Edward A. and Gladys V. Lloyd Nelson.
She formerly worked as a dietitian's aid in the kitchen at Southeast Missouri Hospital, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include two brothers, Howard Nelson of Cape Girardeau and Lloyd Nelson of Foster City, Calif.; five nieces; five great-nieces; and two great-nephews.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel, where funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday. Dr. John Owen will officiate, and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
