Marile Cissell

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Marile "Jean" Cissell, 73, of Perryville died Thursday, March 11, 2004, in Perryville.

She was born Oct. 7, 1930, in Perry County, daughter of Oliver and Gertrude Gib-ler Smith. She and Perry W. Cissell were married Nov. 15, 1947. He died Jan. 14, 1998.

Cissell was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church at Brewer, Mo.

Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Hlavek and Dana Walker of Perryville; four sons, Ronnie, Bill, Steve and Allen Cissell, all of Perryville; a sister, Virginia Zoellner of St. Peters, Mo.; a brother, Kenny Smith of Perryville; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and two sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m.

The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ the Savior Church, with the Rev. Felipe Martinez officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
