Marie Yocks

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Marie M. Yocks, 89, of Marble Hill, passed away on Sept. 10, 2011, at Woodland Hills Nursing Home in Marble Hill.

She was born Sept. 4, 1922, at Puxico, Mo., daughter of J. H. "Tobe" and Lucy Jane Williams Crank. She and Ward Yocks were united in marriage in July 1955.

Marie loved to read and work in her garden.

Survivors include her husband, Ward, of Marble Hill, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Willey Joe Bathe; four brothers, J.D. Crank, Bill Crank, Norman Crank, Paul Yates Sr.; and one sister, Jessie Ashbaugh.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Mo.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Rev. Jack Leslie officiating.

Burial will follow in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
