MARIE S. PRESSON

CHAFFEE -- Marie S. Presson, 86, of Mountain Grove, died Thursday, Sept. 29, 1994, at her home.

She was born May 22, 1908, in Malden, daughter of W.A. and Gladys Hazel Jones Swihart. She and Percy Presson were married March 26, 1950. He died Dec. 27, 1968.

Presson worked 20 years at Sunnen Products in St. Louis, retiring as foreman. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Mountain Grove, Maplewood Order of Eastern Star 264, Ladies Auxiliary to Chaffee American Legion Post 389, and Chaffee VFW Post 3127.

Survivors include a son, Claude Hinkle of Homosassa, Fla.; a brother, Eugene Jones of Kaiser; two sisters, Evelyn Swihart of Delhi, La., and Gertrude Garner of Mountain Grove.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee after 4 p.m. Monday. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
