Marie A Moore, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at her home.

She was born June 8, 1925, in Cape Girardeau to Monty O. and Mary Haynes Baylor.

She and Lee E. Moore were married in April 1944 in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death Aug. 11, 1991.

Marie was a graduate of Central High School. She worked as a meat cutter in the deli at the former Del Farm Grocery Store for 21 years.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include sons Kenneth (Joyce) Moore of Crump, Brad (Kim) Moore of Cape Girardeau and Bruce Moore of Austin, Texas; daughters, Jan Ainsworth and Connie Moore of Cape Girardeau; grandchildren Jessie Ainsworth of Jackson, Joshua Ainsworth of Caruthersville, Missouri, Carissa Bragg of Davidson, North Carolina, Jerica Moore of Cape Girardeau, Weston Moore and Spencer Moore of Texas; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Gregory Moore; two brothers; and two sisters.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Nathan Burgell officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri, 2536 Boutin Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 or Trinity Lutheran Church, 100 N. Frederick St., Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
