Marie Lueders

FROHNA, Mo. — Marie E. Lueders, 94, of Frohna died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017, at Independence Care Center of Perry County in Perryville, Missouri.

She was born Dec. 25, 1922, in Jacob, Illinois, daughter of Ben and Frieda Stueve Kranawetter. She and Wilmer Lueders were married Aug. 4, 1946. He preceded her in death April 2, 2017.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, the church choir, Concordia Ladies Aid in Frohna, Brazeau Extension Club and Lutheran Women’s Missionary League.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter, Darrel (Elaine) Lueders and Karen (Larry) Fritsche, all of Evansville, Indiana, and Doyle (Donna) Lueders of Frohna; three sisters, Nelda Arbeiter, Mathilda Luckey and Cordell Kirn; three brothers, Leo Kanter, Rueben Kranawetter and Erwin Kranawetter; seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Kyle) Bosse, Heather (Landen) Yeager, Amanda (Jacob) Metz, Alex (Casey) Lueders, Samuel (Stephanie) Lueders, Daniel (Alex) Lueders and Lauren (Jeff) Walz; and nine great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan and Allison Bosse, Evelyn and Isaac Yeager, Lennon Metz, Lola and Lucy Walz and Jaxon Lueders.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Albert and Roland Kranawetter; and one sister, Cecile Kranawetter.

Visitation will be held at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Rod Benkendorf officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials preferred to Concordia Lutheran Church or Saxony Lutheran High School.
