MARBLE HILL -- Marie H. Pearson of Grassy died Sunday, Oct. 12, 1997, at the Bond Nursing Care Center in Marble Hill. She was 90 years old.
She was born Sept. 7, 1907, at Lamar, Ark., daughter of William and Anna Schlafke Loedige. In November 1934 she married Ewell C. Pearson.
She is survived by her husband, of the home; one son, Kenneth Pearson of Imperial; two daughters, Linda Morton of St. Louis and Erladean Mattingly of Bonne Terre; two brothers, William Loedige of Lamar and Fred Loedige of Mesa, Ariz.; two sisters, Theresa Norcross of Lawrence, Kan., and Clara Snow of Lamar; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Visitation will be held today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
