ST. LOUIS -- Marie Fulton, 86, of St. Louis, formerly of Patton and Marquand, Mo., died Saturday, Oct. 30. 2004, at the Dutchtown Care Center in St. Louis. She was born Aug. 25, 1918, in Madison County, Mo., daughter of Elijah and Martha Laughary Tripp. She and Palmer Fulton were married Feb. 4, 1940, at Fredericktown, Mo. He died in March 1986...

ST. LOUIS -- Marie Fulton, 86, of St. Louis, formerly of Patton and Marquand, Mo., died Saturday, Oct. 30. 2004, at the Dutchtown Care Center in St. Louis.

She was born Aug. 25, 1918, in Madison County, Mo., daughter of Elijah and Martha Laughary Tripp. She and Palmer Fulton were married Feb. 4, 1940, at Fredericktown, Mo. He died in March 1986.

Fulton had worked as a nurse's aide at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis for over nine years.

Survivors include three sons, Jerrold Fulton of Perryville, Mo., Leo Fulton of Red Bud, Ill., Cleo Fulton of St. Louis; two daughters, Carol Buchheit of Camdenton, Mo., Viola Meintz of Arnold, Mo.; two brothers, Everett Tripp of Marquand, Delbert Tripp of Winfield, Mo.; two sisters, Lorene Richardson of Granite City, Mo., Leona St. Clair of Fredericktown; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons and a grandson.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the service today at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bud Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Patton Community Cemetery at Patton.
