Marie Ann Fulenwider, 89, of Bridgeton, Mo., died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, at Mark Twain Manor in Bridgeton.
She was born April 10, 1913, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Dr. J.J. and Lydia Sophia Rueseler Schneider. She and Joe Fulenwider were married Dec. 30, 1935, in Cape Girardeau. He died June 15, 1972.
Marie worked in the office of Montgomery Ward Co. five years, F.W. Woolworth, Cape Sand Co., office manager at Reisenbichler Lumber Co., 13 years at Vandevan Grocery, 13 years at Childs IGA, and secretary at Robert Cox CPA five years.
She lived in Cape Girardeau until moving to St. Louis in 1991. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral.
Survivors include a daughter, Rose Marie Dickerson of Bridgeton; three grandchildren, Lisa Hemby of St. Louis, Gretchen Moser of Maryland Heights, Mo., J.D. Dickerson III of St. Louis; five great-grandchildren, Veronica Hemby, Angela Hemby, Elise Moser, Ryan Moser and Sierra Dickerson, all of St. Louis.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. Parish prayers will be at 7.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Cathedral, with the Rev. Scott Sunnenberg officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
