MARIE E. SCHOENHERR

FROHNA -- Marie E. Schoenherr of Frohna died Friday, June 12, 1998, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was 84.

She was born June 28, 1913, daughter of Theodore and Rosa Schulmeister Boyer. She married Elmer P. Schoenherr Feb. 16, 1935. He died March 4, 1996.

She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, a lifelong member of Our Savior Trinity Lutheran Church in Niagra Falls, N.Y., and also worked on the Board of Elections in Lewiston Township in Niagra County, N.Y.

She is survived by three sons, Roger and Daniel Schoenherr, both of Frohna and Ronald Schoenherr of Ramona, Calif.; a sister, Geraldine "Gerry" DeHay of Glenns Falls, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She also was preceded in death by her parents, a son and sister.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday and from 6:30-8 a.m. Monday at Young & Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, with the Rev. Luther Herman officiating.

Burial will be at the church cemetery.
