Marie Davis, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Nov. 11, 1996, at Bond Nursing Home in Marble Hill.
She was born July 5, 1910, at Greenbriar, daughter of Scott and Janie Cato Davis. She and Luther Stevenson were married in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death.
Davis had been a housekeeper for several families. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Stevenson of Harrisburg, Pa.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Johnny Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
