MARBLE HILL -- Marie E. Allen, 84, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Sept. 22, 1912, in St. Louis, daughter of Robert and Lillian Hammer Young. Allen was a retired secretary and bookkeeper, having worked at Myrick Real Estate Co., and at the Bollinger County Courthouse. She was a member of Harmony Congregational Methodist Church...

MARBLE HILL -- Marie E. Allen, 84, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 22, 1912, in St. Louis, daughter of Robert and Lillian Hammer Young.

Allen was a retired secretary and bookkeeper, having worked at Myrick Real Estate Co., and at the Bollinger County Courthouse. She was a member of Harmony Congregational Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Joan Brewster of Marble Hill; a grandson; and a great-grandson.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Ross officiating. Burial will be in Lessley Cemetery.
