CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Marian Elizabeth Bartlett, 92, of Cuba, Mo., and formerly of Bertrand, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at the home of her daughter in Cuba.
Born on Nov. 11, 1920, in Oskaloosa, Kan., to the late Matthew and Grace Harness Rumbaugh. She had lived in Cuba the past several years, moving there from Bertrand.
On May 18, 1939, she married Bennie O'Neal Bartlett, who preceded her in death Aug. 21, 1987.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Marlin Rumbaugh and Gordon Rumbaugh; one sister, Juanita Hyde; and one granddaughter, Diana Shrum.
She is survived by her children, J. Carol Williams and husband Bob of Cuba, Kenneth Bartlett and wife Jean of Scott City and Julia Bartlett Loiseau of Austin, Texas; her grandchildren, Julia Harlow, Tommy Shrum, Blake Williams and Amanda Flowers (Lee) all of Cuba, Karen Caskey of Deep Water, Mo., Shonna Williams of Leasburg, Mo., Mark Williams of St Louis, Angela Mooney (Tim) of Pleasant Gap, Pa., Paul Bartlett (Amy) of Blodgett, Mo., and Amy Loiseau Cohen (Scott) of New York City; 18 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie, Mo.
