Marguerite Young

Marguerite Young, 88, of Mounds, Ill., died Saturday, March 29, 2003, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.

She was born Dec. 12, 1914, in Mounds, the daughter of the late Harry Jefferson and Mary Susan Edwards Windland. She was married to Harold Young, who preceded her in death in 1971.

Survivors include three nephews, Harry K. Windland of Glen Carbon, Ill., Larry Windland of St. Charles, Ill., and Ronald Jones of Arizona; a niece, Nancy Jennings of Anniston, Ala.; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother and a sister.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. Monday until the time of the funeral at the Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds, Ill. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. Robert D. McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in Spencer Heights Cemetery in Mounds.
