Marguerite Maurine Koenig, age 75, of Wilmington, Del., died at 2:03 p.m. Dec. 12, 2011, at Parkview Nursing Home. She was born Jan. 24, 1936, the fourth child to Everett Albert and Georgia Lillian Dieterich Baker in Cooperstown, Brown County, Ill. She married Charles Emanuel Koenig on June 16, 1984. Marguerite Maurine Koenig, age 75, of Wilmington, Del., died at 2:03 p.m. Dec. 12, 2011, at Parkview Nursing Home.

She was born Jan. 24, 1936, the fourth child to Everett Albert and Georgia Lillian Dieterich Baker in Cooperstown, Brown County, Ill. She married Charles Emanuel Koenig on June 16, 1984. He preceded in her in death Aug. 30, 2009.

Marguerite is survived by three daughters, Alice Katherine (Rollie) Matlock, Diane F. (Rick) Abel, Erin Leigh (Marcus C.) Wienner; six grandchildren, Clinton Wade Matlock, Courtney Michelle Paul, David George Wienner, Jennifer Rae McClatchey, Rollie Clay Matlock, Steven Kenneth Androski; five great-grandchildren, Anastazia Noelle Paul, Chase Alexander Paul, Jacob Cruz McClatchey, Joshua Aiden McClatchey and Kali Rene Paul.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Emanuel Koenig, and granddaughter, Jennifer Leigh Wienner, who died Dec. 12, 2004, the same day as Marguerite.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill.

Service for Marguerite Maurine Koenig will be at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Randy Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at Lindsey Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
