JACKSON -- Marguerite C. Nothdurft, 80, of Jackson, died Wednesday, March 23, 1994, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 2, 1913, at Gordonville, daughter of Alvin and Lena Sperling Deneke. She and Sylvester Nothdurft were married Nov. 9, 1936, at Gordonville. He died Dec. 18, 1993.
Nothdurft lived on the family farm at Gordonville many years and was a member of Zion United Methodist Church. After moving to Jackson she became a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women, Dorcas Circle, and Susanna Wesley Sunday School Class. She was a member of Southeast Missouri Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons, Glenn Nothdurft of Oran, Paul Nothdurft of Gordonville; three daughters, Joan Sebaugh of Sedgewickville, Karen Kuehle of Fredericktown, Donna Fields of Gordonville; a brother, Albert Deneke of Gordonville; a sister, Bernice Hartmann of Jackson; 12 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home, and at Zion Church in Gordonville after 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Revs. O. Otto Steinhaus and Tom Gross officiating. Burial will be in Zion Church Cemetery.
