WARDSVILLE, Mo. -- Margie Glenda Ward, 91, of Wardsville died Saturday, March 20, 2021, at her home.
She was born Aug. 30, 1929, in Millersville, the daughter of Ralph A. and Rubye Bonney Holmes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Warren J. Ward Jr., of Wardsville.
Margie held various jobs as she raised her family, before managing a Dog N Suds where many of her children also worked. She was proud to be a 1970 graduate of Jefferson City School of Nursing and later got her Realtor's license in Arkansas. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. She loved to dance, walk the beaches, read a good book, and normally had a puzzle in the works.
Survivors include sons, R. Larry (Sharon) Seabaugh of Jefferson City; Ralph G. "Jerry" (Debbie) Seabaugh of Hartford, Connecticut; Micheal E. (Karla) Seabaugh of Camdenton, Missouri; James A. (Patricia) Ward of Jefferson City; and Jeffrey W. (Christy) Ward of North Little Rock, Arkansas; stepson, J. Michael Ward of St. Louis; daughters, Linda K. Vanvactor of Jefferson City and Connie A. (Dennis) Lockwood and Margie Kaye (Delbert) Stockman, both of Wardsville; stepdaughters, Virginia "Vickie" E. Ward of Farmington, Missouri, and Janice M. (Danny) Pogue of St. Louis; daughter-in-law, Joyce M. Seabaugh; and a sister, Barbara Jean (Joe) Seabaugh of Clinton, Missouri. She had 32 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Margie was preceded in death by her sister, Janette R. Rains; son, Garry W. Seabaugh; daughter, Glenda C. Seabaugh; and two granddaughters, Glenda Faye Godbey and Natalie Lynn Seabaugh.
Visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m. Thursday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Jefferson City.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. I.C. Medina officiating. Burial will be at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens in Jefferson City.
The general public is welcome to attend while following social distancing guidelines. Facial coverings are suggested while in attendance.
