FRIENDSHIP, Tenn. -- Margie Hopkins Privett, 84, of Friendship, died Saturday, July 28, 2007, at her home. She was born July 22, 1923, daughter of Clarence "Slim" and Maddie Alice "Lee" May. She first married Edwin "Hop" Hopkins, who preceded her in death. She then married Thomas Privett, who also preceded her in death...

FRIENDSHIP, Tenn. -- Margie Hopkins Privett, 84, of Friendship, died Saturday, July 28, 2007, at her home.

She was born July 22, 1923, daughter of Clarence "Slim" and Maddie Alice "Lee" May. She first married Edwin "Hop" Hopkins, who preceded her in death. She then married Thomas Privett, who also preceded her in death.

Privett had been a beautician in the Alamo/Halls, Tenn., area.

She is survived by a half sister, Sue Coomer of Scott City, and a brother, Ronald May of Goose Creek (French Village), Mo.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.

The funeral was held Sunday at Friendship Funeral Home, with Wade Hunt and Oscar Bruce officiating. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery.
