Margie Kurre

Margie T. Kurre, 94, of Las Vegas, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015, at Olive Grove Residential Care in Las Vegas.

She was born Sunday, July 10, 1921, in Cape Girardeau to Charles and Verba Rodenberry Trickey. She and Fred W. Kurre Jr. were married in 1944 at Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death March 15, 1996.

Margie was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ.

She was an avid golfer and bridge player.

Survivors include a son, Fred W. "Bill" Kurre III of Las Vegas, and a number of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with pastor Dan Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
