SCOTT CITY -- Margaret Evelyn Wright, 90, of Scott City died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 19, 1908, in DeSoto, Ill., daughter of Ralph A. and Clementine Williams Pellett. She and Arba William Wright were married Jan. 1, 1930, in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Wright had been a teacher at Scott City High School, at Blodgett and Van Buren. She was a member of Illmo United Methodist Church, White Shrine, PEO, and past worthy matron of Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Michael Wright of Scott City; and a brother, Ralph Pellett of Longview, Texas.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 4:30 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jim Woeltje officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.
