MARBLE HILL -- Margaret Buckingham Schneider, 80, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 1997.
She was born July 13, 1917, at Leslie, Ark., daughter of Thomas W. and Ola M. Boone Buckingham.
She was retired from the Civil Service. She was a member of the Scopus United Methodist Church, the Bollinger County Historical Society, the St. Louis Genealogical Society, Fleet Reserve Auxiliary and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
She is survived by two sons, Richard L. Russell of La Jolla, Calif., and Paul W. Russell of San Diego; three brothers, Tommy Buckingham of Edwardsville, Ill., Lee Buckingham of Santee, Calif., and Rex Buckingham of Granite City, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. James Hartman officiating.
Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery in San Diego.
