CAIRO, Ill. -- Margaret R. Bouchet, 84, of Cairo died Nov. 9, 1993, at Memorial Hospital in Springfield, Ill.
She was born in Morehouse on Nov. 24, 1908, the daughter of the late Edward and Katherine Miller Rubenacker.
She was a bookkeeper for Elias True Value Shopping Center in Cairo before her retirement.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and was a member of the Cairo Historical Society, the Cairo Business & Professional Womens Club, and a 55-year member of the Cairo VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Bouchet. She is survived by her newphews, Bob Rubenacker of Auburn, Ill., and Paul Rubenacker of Hoffman Estates, Ill.
Friends may call from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Friday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Jerome Fortenberry as celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at Mounds.
