Margaret Mann
ST. LOUIS -- Margaret Lucille Mann, 81, of St. Louis passed away Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, in St. Louis.
She was born Nov. 2, 1928, in St. Louis, daughter of John and Madge Farney Cottrell. She and Charles F. Mann Jr. were married June 5, 1948. He passed away Dec. 9, 2008.
Margaret was retired after working for 22 years as head cook for Hope Lutheran School in St. Louis City. She was a member of Timothy Lutheran Church and enjoyed her special time with her grandchildren.
Loving survivors include a son, Rev. Robert (Karen) Mann of Pocahontas; two grandchildren, Brian Mann of Bryant, Ark., and Christina Mann of St. Louis; one brother-in-law, Jack (Corrine) Mann of St. Louis; several nephews and nieces; and some special friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, her parents and sister, Goldie Mayes.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons, 7027 Gravois Ave. in St. Louis. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. to the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Timothy Lutheran Church, 6704 Fyler Ave. in St. Louis, with the Rev. Bill Wilson officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorials to Timothy Lutheran Church Memorial Fund in St. Louis, the Lutheran Home Hospice in Cape Girardeau or the memorial of your choice.
