MARGARET LENTZ

CAIRO, Ill. -- Margaret L. Lentz, 83, of Cairo died Sunday, April 16, 2000, at Daystar Care Center.

She was born Aug. 26, 1916, in Dongola, daughter of Lloyd and Minnie Penrod Lentz.

Lentz was a retired waitress, and member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Surviving are nieces and nephews, including Xandra Gibson of Cairo, Dianne Wham of Henderson, Ky., Kris Heath of Rickreall, Ore.; and Robert Lentz of Columbia, Mo.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

There is no visitation.

Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the American Legion Cemetery in Dongola, with the Rev. Kelly Cox officiating.

Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo is in charge of arrangements.
