Margaret "Maggie" Juden Jones, 102, of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, April 7, 1993, at Cape LaCroix.
She was born March 18, 1891, north of Cape Girardeau, daughter of Harvey and Caroline Penn. She married Thurman Juden in 1909, who preceded her in death. He later married Herman A. Jones in 1934, who also preceded her in death.
Jones was a musician. She was a member of Hobbs Chapel many years, before becoming a member of Red Star Baptist Church. She was the oldest living member of Rebekah Lodge here.
Survivors include a son, Woodrow Juden of Mesa, Ariz.; a stepson, Leon Jones of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a stepson and three stepdaughters.
Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. David Conley will officiate, with burial in Hobbs Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
