Margaret H. Gorham, 92, of Newton, Kan., died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, at Newton Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 22, 1912, in Potwin, Kan., daughter of Earnest L. and Isabel Finch Hanstine. She and Charles Irvin Gorham were married June 3, 1936, in Newton. He died in April 1960.
Gorham was a 1930 graduate of Newton High School and the Venus Beauty Academy in Wichita, Kan. She was a member of St. Luke's Presbyterian Church in Newton.
Survivors include a son, Gary Gorham of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Alberta "Bertie" Woodward of Farmington, N.M.; two granddaughters; two stepgranddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. March 5 at St. Luke's Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Paul Wissink officiating.
Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in Newton is in charge of arrangements.
