Margaret Glastetter, age 63, of Jackson passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, at her home.
She was born July 11, 1944, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of William Loy and Louva Marie Allen Devore.
Margaret was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson, where she was a member of the Survivor's Group. She was also a member of Town and Country FCE Club and was active in Cape County Democrat Activities. She worked for the former International Shoe Co. in Jackson, and was currently employed at the Environmental Services Department of Southeast Hospital.
Margaret was actively involved in the Cape County Relay For Life and was an avid supporter of Jackson High School and the St. Louis College of Pharmacy volleyball and basketball teams.
Loving survivors include a daughter, Chrissi Glastetter of St. Louis; a sister, Lois (Dick) Seabaugh of Jackson; a brother, Don (Jean) Devore of Jackson; a stepson, Don Glastetter Riley of Wood River, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, with parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. followed by the Rosary led by St. Ann's Sodality.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Monsignor Edward Eftink and Father Dave Hulshoff officiating.
Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
