Margaret Davie, 81, of Jackson died Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 23, 1925, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Otto J. and Mary B. (Schaefer) Cook. She and Alvin L. Davie were married Oct. 18, 1946, in Cape Girardeau.
She was employed by Saint Francis Medical Center as a nurse assistant for 28 years, retiring in 1989. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Judith A. Mika of Kansas City, Kansas; five sons, Larry G. Davie, John R. Davie and Stephen M. Davie, all of Cape Girardeau; Kenneth A. Davie of Chaffee, Mo.; and Robert L. Davie of Fruitland; one brother, Clyde J. Cook, of Kelso., Mo.; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be held at 7 p.m.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
