PUXICO -- Margaret Clark, a lifelong resident of Puxico, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 1998, at the Puxico Nursing Center. She was 88. She was born Sept. 2, 1910, in Keota, Iowa, daughter of William Carl and Bessie Sayler Hamilton Hoth. She married Lawrence G. Clark in Butler County on Jan. 29, 1941. He died Sept. 28, 1996...

PUXICO -- Margaret Clark, a lifelong resident of Puxico, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 1998, at the Puxico Nursing Center. She was 88.

She was born Sept. 2, 1910, in Keota, Iowa, daughter of William Carl and Bessie Sayler Hamilton Hoth. She married Lawrence G. Clark in Butler County on Jan. 29, 1941. He died Sept. 28, 1996.

She was a retired nurse.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Corinth General Baptist Church near Puxico, with the Revs. Ray Placher and Bob Bradford officiating.

Burial will be at Rock Hill Cemetery near Puxico.
