CAPE GIRARDEAU - Funeral services for Margaret C. Putman, 78, of Cape Girardeau, will held tomorrow at 10 a.m., at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Cy Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
Friends may call today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m.
Putman died Friday at the Jackson Manor.
She was born May 8, 1912 at Malden to the late John and Delia Oliver MacDonald.
She married Marlow Putman in 1936 in Fort Smith, Ark. He preceded her in death in 1959.
Survivors include two sons, James Putman of Ladue, and John Putman of Goshen, Ind. Four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.
Putman was a member of the Red Star Baptist Church. She was employed at Davis Electric Co. from 1949 to 1981.
