COBDEN, Ill. -- Margaret Elizabeth Arter, 65, of Bloomington, Ind., died Thursday, April 1, 1999, at Brown County Community Care Center in Nashville, Ind.
She was born Jan. 24, 1934, at Cobden, daughter of Adolph J. and Agnes M. Bradac Flamm. She and Richard W. Arter were married Dec. 27, 1956, in St. Louis.
Arter was a 1952 graduate of Cobden High School. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Bloomington.
Survivors include her husband of Sarasota, Fla.; two daughters, Patricia Hagelin of St. Cloud, Fla., Nancy Cobb of Orlando, Fla.; and a son, Thomas Arter of Bloomington.
Also surviving are three brothers, Edwin, Albert and Raymond Flamm of Cobden; three sisters, Sister Rosemary Flamm and Agnes Williams of St. Louis, Mildred Murphy of Topeka, Kan.; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden from 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cobden. The Rev. Federico Higuera will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
