Margaret A. Shell, 74, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014, at Fountainbleau Lodge.
She was born Jan. 25, 1940, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Elmer and Juanita Morris McCormick.
She and Edward Shell were married Dec. 28, 1958, in Cape Girardeau.
Margaret was a homemaker but also worked as a cook at schools in the area.
Loving survivors include her husband Edward, a daughter; Laura Taber and husband Jack of Cape Girardeau, a son B.J. Shell and wife Amy of Bluffton, South Carolina, five grandchildren; Dean Best, Jessica Kinder and husband Cody, Blake Best and wife Shealee, Owen and Lucy Shell and three great-grandchildren; Alisa and Kinslee Kinder and Landen Best.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Lisa Poston in 2004 and a grandson Leland Gorman.
Friends may call Tuesday, May 27, 2014, between 5 and 7 p.m., at the McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
