OAK RIDGE, Tenn. - Marcy LeMar McCauley, 90, died Friday, Aug. 20, 1993 at the Oak Ridge Health Care Center in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
He was born Nov. 23, 1902, at Leona, Kansas, son of John Ervin and Gertruth Heckman McCauley.
He worked as superintendent of building and structures with New York Central Railroad, and in 1982 moved to Oak Ridge, Tenn., from Cape Girardeau.
He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Cape Girardeau, attended St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, and was an honorary member of Faith Masonic Lodge in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
He was also a member of: St. Mark's Lodge #93 in Cape; Wilson Chapter #70, Royal Arch Masons; Cape Girardeau Commandary #93, Cape Council #2; and was also active in Masonic organizations in Syracuse, N.Y. He was a registered professional engineer in Ohio and Michigan.
Survivors include: one son, Lowell McCauley of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; one brother, John E. McCauley of Cocoa Beach, Fla.,; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
His wife, Orpha Snead McCauley preceded him in death in October of 1981.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel, with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Memorial Park, with Rev. Brant V. Hazlett officiating.
