JACKSON, Mo. -- Marcello L. Bairani Jr., 63, of Jackson died Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at his home. He was born Dec. 29, 1938, in New York City, N.Y., son of Marcello L. and Virginia Tosses Bairani Sr. He and Isabel R. Rodriguez were married April 11, 1991...

JACKSON, Mo. -- Marcello L. Bairani Jr., 63, of Jackson died Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at his home.

He was born Dec. 29, 1938, in New York City, N.Y., son of Marcello L. and Virginia Tosses Bairani Sr. He and Isabel R. Rodriguez were married April 11, 1991.

Bairani was a carpenter, and a member of Jehovah's Witnesses in Jackson.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Abraham Bairani of Memphis, Tenn., Aaron Bairani of Chicago; two daughters, Gina and Sophia Bairani of Jackson; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall. Ben Stafford will officiate.

McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
