Maple Milton, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, June 5, 2003, at her home.
She was born March 10, 1923, in Gillett, Ark., daughter of Eddie and Emma Carson Green. She and Dennis Milton Sr. were married in 1950 in Arkansas. He preceded her in death.
Milton was a member of New Light Missionary Baptist Church in Dumas, Ark., and a member of the Usher Board.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Morris of the home; three sons, Dennis Milton of Cape Girardeau, Russell Milton of Union City, Tenn., Eugene Coaker of Waynesville, Mo.; two stepsons, Aaron and Simon Milton of Memphis, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and five sisters.
Friends may call at New Bethel Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau after 11 a.m. Friday.
The funeral will be at noon Friday at the church, with the Rev. Alex Sims officiating. Burial will be in Haywood City, Mo.
Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home in Sikeston, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
