Funeral service for Mamie Anna Elizabeth Boswell of Reno, Nev., will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. William Dickey will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the chapel from 4-7 p.m. Sunday.
Boswell, 91, died Tuesday, March 12, 1996, at Manor Care IV Center in Reno.
She was born Sept. 15, 1904, at Egypt Mills, daughter of John J. and Dena Heuer Steeg. She and Clyde R. Boswell were married Feb. 22, 1923, in Cape Girardeau. He died Jan. 6, 1973.
Boswell grew up in Egypt Mills, graduated from the Old Normal School, and attended business college in St. Louis. She had been a food service worker in schools in Waukegan, Ill.
She moved to Reno 7 years ago from St. Louis. She had been a member of Daughters of Union Veterans and American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include four sons, Bill Boswell of Cape Girardeau, Dr. Jerry Boswell of Denver, Colo., Dean Boswell of Wilton, Calif., Clyde Boswell of Yorba Linda, Calif.; two daughters, Barbara Thomas of Reno, Dorothy Richardson of Kingston, Tenn.; 21 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, two brothers and two sisters.
