Maggie C. Hribernik, 99, formerly of Jackson, Mo., died Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center in Cape Girardeau. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park and Mausoleum in St. Louis with a chapel committal service. The Rev. Grant Gillard will officiate...

Maggie C. Hribernik, 99, formerly of Jackson, Mo., died Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center in Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park and Mausoleum in St. Louis with a chapel committal service. The Rev. Grant Gillard will officiate.

She was born June 5, 1902, in Fruitland, Mo., daughter of Robert and Fannie Reid Cotner. She married Walter Wilson on Aug. 16, 1926, and he died Oct. 13, 1958. She then married Joseph Hribernik, who died July 3, 1971.

She retired from Bridal Originals in St. Louis in 1964. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson and Cane Creek Homemakers Club. She was a former member of Third Baptist Church in St. Louis and the American Legion Auxiliary in Jackson.

Survivors include a sister, Venus Martin of Jackson, three nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
