Maggie M. Hoffman, 93, of Jackson died Monday, Sept. 12, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born July 30, 1912, near Whitewater, daughter of Oliver and Margaret M. Bennett Statler. She and Theodore Harvey Hoffman were married Sept. 3, 1933. He died Dec. 10, 1999...

Maggie M. Hoffman, 93, of Jackson died Monday, Sept. 12, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 30, 1912, near Whitewater, daughter of Oliver and Margaret M. Bennett Statler. She and Theodore Harvey Hoffman were married Sept. 3, 1933. He died Dec. 10, 1999.

She and her husband farmed 40 years in the Whitewater community, retiring in 1976. They moved to Jackson in 1979.

A lifelong member of Zion United Methodist Church in Gordonville, she was active in United Methodist Women and the Adult Sunday School Class.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Grace Statler of St. Charles.

She was preceded in death by a half brother.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 11 a.m. to service time Thursday.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Kuehle officiating. Burial will be in Zion Methodist Cemetery at Gordonville.
