MAE WITHROW

Mae Alta Withrow, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, April 26, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born April 18, 1915, at Naylor, daughter of Michael and G. Belle Moutrie Harris. She and Fred Withrow were married Jan. 12, 1941, at Sikeston.

Withrow owned and operated East Cape Sales seven years, and was a cashier at the Brokerage Co. store on Main Street many years. She was reared in Naylor, and moved to Cape Girardeau in 1951 from Oran. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a brother, Elmer Harris of Dix, Ill.; and a sister, Myrtle Doudie of Kell, Ill.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-6 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Rick Porter officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
