EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Mae Secoy of East Prairie will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel. Pastor Dave Bowden will officiate, with burial in East Prairie Memorial Park.
Secoy, 82, died Monday, Nov. 16, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Dec. 29, 1909, in Ravenden Springs, Ark., daughter of Newton and Dora Emmons Darnell. She and Tom Secoy were married July 13, 1925.
Secoy attended First Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Jerry and Larry Secoy of East Prairie, Raymond Secoy of Pilot Knob, Billy Secoy of Shelbina; four daughters, Betty Carter and Pat Helms of East Prairie, Sue Fox and Jeane Bowman of Poplar Bluff; 16 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, three sisters and two grandchildren.
