MAE MCMULLEN

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Etta Mae McMullen, 92, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 24, 1908, in Marble Hill, daughter of Edward and Sarah Bell Stevens Barks. She and W.H. "Mac" McMullen were married May 24, 1958.

McMullen was employed 20 years at the former Brown Shoe Co. and Valley Shoe Co. in St. Louis. She was a member of Millersville Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a brother, Wendell Barks of Jackson, Mo.; and a sister, Ola Schreiner of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Daniel Hale will officiate. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
