OAK RIDGE -- Mae Marie Masterson, 87, of Oak Ridge died Monday, Nov. 29, 1999, at Perry Oaks Nursing Center in Perryville. She was born May 24, 1912, in Oak Ridge, daughter of Oscar and Lillie Breckinridge Sample. Masterson was a teacher 32 years, retiring from Oak Ridge School District in 1972. OAK RIDGE -- Mae Marie Masterson, 87, of Oak Ridge died Monday, Nov. 29, 1999, at Perry Oaks Nursing Center in Perryville.

She was born May 24, 1912, in Oak Ridge, daughter of Oscar and Lillie Breckinridge Sample.

Masterson was a teacher 32 years, retiring from Oak Ridge School District in 1972. She was a member of Oak Ridge Methodist Church, and a former Sunday School teacher.

Survivors include a son, Jasper Masterson of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Janet McMasters of Oak Ridge; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Lyons officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery.
