SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Mae Keesee, 88, of Scott City died Friday, March 2, 2001, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 11, 1913, at Commerce, Mo., daughter of Henry and Hulda Hillemann Sanders. She and Orvel E. Keesee were married Jan. 27, 1934, in St. Louis. He died June 19, 2000.
Keesee was a seamstress at Ely Walker. She was a member of Eisleben Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Sylvia Westover of Shreveport, La., Betty Shoaf of Jackson, Mo.; three brothers, "John Mack" Sanders of Scott City, Louis Sanders of Cape Girardeau, James Sanders of Winter Park, Fla.; two sisters, Mary Bull of Hannibal, Mo., Ordelia Wahrhausen of Hialeah, Fla.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Eisleben Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Bob Azinger officiating.
Friends may call Sunday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
