MAE GORDON

EAST PRAIRIE -- Mae Lois Gordon, 36, of East Prairie, died Friday at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Jan. 25, 1960, in Dorena to James O. Johnson and Ella Lee Tippler. She attended East Prairie High School.

She married Everett Keith Gordon May 7, 1996.

She is survived by her husband; her parents; three sons: Daremus, Dareme and Devon Tipler, all of East Prairie; two daughters: Miranda and Shanica Gordon, both of East Prairie; two brothers: Robbie Tippler of Charleston and Alvin Tipler of Wolf Island; six stepbrothers: Larry Johnson of Denver, Colo., Robert, Kevin and Michael Johnson, all of Aurora, Colo, Steven Johnson of Cape Girardeau, and James Johnson of Pueblo, Colo.; four sisters: Sadie Morrell of Marion, Ind., Callie Tipler of Charleston, Bobbie Bogan of Wyatt, and Marilyn Stewart of St. Louis; one stepsister, Iman Johnson of Aurora; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be tonight from 6 to at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston.

Funeral service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Murry Williams officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
