ANNA, Ill. -- Mae Basler, 87, of Anna, formerly of Cobden, Ill., died Sunday, March 21, 1993, at the City Care Center in Anna.
She was born on March 14, 1906 in Vienna, Ill, the daughter of William Theodore and Daisy Lenora Ledbetter Wortmann.
She was married on Sept. 8, 1926 to Earl (Rab) Basler, who preceded her in death on Feb. 20, 1973.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna.
Survivors include two daughters, Edna Goddard of Anna and Katie Wadkins of Waterloo, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons.
Funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Cobden.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 tonight at the funeral home.
