MADGE SCHULTZ

Madge L. Schultz, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at Beverly Health Care in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 9, 1912, in Commerce, Mo., daughter of George and Amanda Storey Steen. She and Fritz W. Schultz were married on Nov. 5, 1927. He died April 5, 1988.

Schultz was retired from Buckstein Pants Factory in Chaffee, Mo., as a machine operator. She was a member of Cornerstone Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one child and several half brothers and half sisters.

Friends may call at 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. The Rev. Kim Ferguson will officiate, with burial in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
